WildHeart

This a piece I wrote based on a hook line suggested to my by Phö, a singer from Oakville.  I worked on it from there. It was composed and recorded at home with Cubase 5. The singer of the piece is Phö.

Lyrics:

WildHeart    by Peter Kanold
I had no one to call my own
an empty heart an empty home
Any friends I had at all
were just shadows on the wall

Like a wave lost in the sea
I just watched while life lived me
It seemed written in the stars
My life was fated to be sparse
In this cell I’d made for me
you smashed the walls and set me free

When your wild heart beats with mine
I leave the empty world behind
The stars align
when your wild heart beats  with mine

You took my torn and tattered dreams
stitched the tears and sewed the seams
You took this cracked and shattered heart
and mended each and every part
I feel better than brand new
I found my self when lost in you

When your wild heart beats with mine
I  leave the empty world behind
Our souls entwine
when your wild heart beats with mine

Our souls entwine
when your wild heart beats with mine
